“Then the man brought me to the gate facing east, and I saw the glory of God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with His glory.” Ezekiel 43:1-2 “He sent forth His Word and healed them.” Psalm 107:20 When the Lord speaks, our lives change. His voice is described as the roar of rushing waters. The Psalmist states that when He sent forth his Word people experienced healing in their lives. The Lord is the Voice of Healing. He touches our lives from the place of His presence. We will never be the same. It is our prayer that God would touch your life through His Word. Healing and restoration occur today through the power of the Holy Spirit, given as our Comforter. We ask Him to renew our thinking through His Word that we may be established in Him. For the last 14 years David Janssen has been the Senior Pastor of the State College Alliance Church. Prior to arriving in State College, Dave served as Chaplain of the Dalat International School in Penang, Malaysia. Pastor Dave carries a burden for renewal among God’s people. Healing in our lives is often a process of removing dangerous things, and exchanging them for precious things. In Jeremiah 1:9 we that God’s care for our lives involves planting, as well as weeding! For this reason, both aspects are represented on the ministry website. The Voice of Healing website carries messages that plant faith and expectancy in lives, as well as challenges for avoiding spiritual danger. Kenneth Mackenzie once said: “Could the loving heart of Jesus, who had compassion on the sick, and healed all who had need of healing, cease to regard the sufferings of His own when He had become exalted at the right hand of the Father?” Pastor Dave has been married to Jeannine, who is a team member in ministry, for 26 years. Carolyn has just graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and teaches Art at the Dalat International School in Malaysia. Elizabeth is a junior at the same school and studies Graphics.
