The Battle is the Lord's
Realize The Battle is the Lord's
Jude 1:3
Some suggest it isn't loving to provide information to people concerning spiritual compromise in secret societies. Everyone, in their thinking, should be free to bring whatever beliefs they have into the church. But the New Testament doesn't teach this. Jesus loved people enough to challenge them.
Jude tells us to contend for the historic faith.
The church we attend belongs to Jesus. It is His body. The Epistle to the Philippians opens with a promise, which was directed not to an individual, but to a Church. The message is simple. He who began His work in your church plans on finishing it. The battle is the Lord’s. He knows how to address the problem and how to bring renewal to the church. He has simply chosen you and others to understand something He is doing. Be faithful, and remember He does know how to get the job done. Jesus has been given all authority. He will share vision with you and your leaders, leading to a strategy for the church. Back |
